Event Description:
Participants are offered the following track at this church planting training event: Church Planting Essentials (CPE).

Church Planting Essentials is church planting "basic training." It is ideal for church plant pastors. The materials were created by Dynamic Church Planting International, based upon years of working in mission areas where the church is expanding rapidly. It is 4 days, and teaches how to:

Organize and refine your vision, purpose, strategies, and timeline early, so that you have a clear plan for the future.
Use Biblical principles for church planting in everything you do.
Recognize and avoid common church planting "land mines".

DISTRICT CONVENTIONS & ASSEMBLY

May 15 Deadline for completing and submitting Pastors Annual Report! END OF CHURCH YEAR was April 30, 2015 for SNAD! It's time now for Pastors and Church Leaders to compile and report the years’ activities for your church. Our District Secretary, Marilyn Van Yazzie, has sent out report forms via mail to be completed and submitted by May 15, 2015. Marilyn can be reached at mvyazzie@yahoo.com or (505) 879-3614 to answer any questions you may have regarding electronic submission. 

June 4 - 6 DISTRICT CONVENTIONS AND ASSEMBLY- Our annual District Conventions and Assembly is right around the corner! This will take place on the campus of Southwest Indian Ministry Center (SIMC) 14202 N 73rd Ave, Peoria, AZ 85381, (Thunderbird Rd & 73rd Ave).  Here is the schedule:

Keep all our district department leaders and councils in prayer as they get ready for our District Conventions and Assembly.  June Stillings (SDMI Chairperson), Andy Charley (NMI President), Becky Pohawpatchoko (NYI President), John R. Nells (District Superintendent), and Marilyn Van Yazzie (District Secretary).  

SIMC GUEST HOUSING & SERVICES: The dormitories are made available on a first-come, first-served basis for our conventions and assembly.  The contact person is Margie Guy (623) 692-7321.  Dormitory rooms will be available at $15.00 per person per night and will include bedding.  Please be aware that you will need to bring your own toiletries.  Meals cost are set at: Breakfast $4.00, Lunch $6.00 and Supper $5.00 per person.  The meals are scheduled to be served beginning Thursday noon to Saturday noon, so please come prepared eat elsewhere other than scheduled serving time. 

LaQUINTA INNS and SUITES- Bell Rd & 83rd Ave has given us discounted rates at $62.10+ tax for Wednesday and Thursday nights and $81.00+ tax for Friday night, June 4-6, 2015.  

July 15-19 CAMPMEETING at Dilkon 1st Church of the Nazarene

July 23-25 Native American Conference in Bethany, OK. This multicultural conference will be held at the Bethany First Church of the Nazarene in Oklahoma. Christian Native leaders coming together to plan and organize outreach to the USA/Canada mission field. Come and be a part! For more info, contact our District Supt., John R.
